Following are directions on how to use the WEDA Website Forums.
1. Open up a web browser, like Internet Explorer or Mozilla.
2. Go to the website: www.westerndredging.org
3. On the left side of the website, click on the "WEDA Forums"
You are now at the list of Forums.
(Note: Right now we have only a "General Discussion" section,
but we could add other sections (such as a section for
discussion about conferences).)
Click on the "General Discussion" link.
You will now see a list of all current discussion threads,
which are just like e-mail threads except they can only be
accessed through this website.
To post a new message for everyone to read and respond to,
click on the "Post New Topic" link on the top of the page,
right below the WEDA Logo. A form will come up. Make sure to
put your name and e-mail address there so people can get a hold
of you. The subject will be what people see as the Topic of the
thread on the main page.
To read a thread, just click on the Topic of the thread name.
You will then be able to see the original message and all the
responses. If you would like to respond to the thread you are
reading, go to the bottom of the page and there will be a box
for you to put your name, e-mail address, and message in. Just
fill that out and click "Send".
